These product terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and will be interpreted accordingly. Any disputes will be handled by the English courts. If any part of these terms is deemed invalid by a court, the remaining terms will still be valid and enforceable.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will use the information we collect lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect your information for two main reasons: to process your order and to provide you with better service. We won’t email you unless you give us permission, and we won’t share your information with third parties without your consent. You will have the option to opt-out of future marketing emails.

For Our Products

Product Descriptions and Image Display

The products we sell are professionally photographed or digitally rendered, and we strive to accurately represent them on our website. However, due to differences in monitor settings, types, and styles, the colors displayed on screen may vary slightly from the actual product colors. Therefore, we recommend that you request a free sample before placing your order to ensure you are satisfied with the color and quality. While Homevery makes every effort to ensure that the goods sold and delivered match the samples or descriptions shown or provided, there may be minor or non-essential variations between samples and final products. Such variations are not grounds for rejecting an order, for example:

Fabrics and dyes: Both natural and synthetic fabrics may exhibit slight differences in tone and saturation during the dyeing process, so we cannot guarantee that two products ordered separately will be made from the same batch of fabric.

Measurements

Many of the products we offer are custom-made, so it is your responsibility to take accurate measurements of your windows, curtain poles, or tracks. If you have any questions about the products or the measurement process, please contact our customer service team for assistance before placing an order or refer to our online measurement guide. Before placing your order, it is essential to carefully check the product details and measurements, and ensure that the information in your email confirmation is accurate. If incorrect measurements are provided, as the products are made to order and cannot be resold, we will not be able to accept returns or offer refunds.

Made-to-Measure Products

Our made-to-measure products are custom-made according to your specific requirements, including curtains, cushions, and tiebacks. As these items are tailored specifically for you, they cannot be canceled or returned. Therefore, it is essential that you are certain about both the product style and size you require. We highly recommend taking advantage of our free sample service before placing your order. If you are dissatisfied with the color or overall quality of the product, Homevery will not be held responsible. We strongly advise you to double-check your order to ensure that the selected products and measurements are accurate. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Ready-Made Products

We are happy to accept returns on all non-custom products. To qualify for a refund, you must return the items within 14 working days of delivery. The returned items must be unused and in a resalable condition. Before returning the products, please contact us via email to arrange the refund. We recommend using a courier service to ensure the safe return of the items. Once we receive and inspect the returned products to confirm they are in a resalable condition, we will issue a full refund, including the original delivery fee. Please note that the cost of returning the items to us will not be refunded.

Tolerance

Please note that our fabrics are cut with precision by highly skilled professionals. A tolerance of ±5mm applies for most fabrics, and ±5cm for softer materials like curtains. If the measurements fall within these tolerance limits, we will not replace the order, and you will not be entitled to reject the goods.

Fabric Information

Most fabrics undergo a dyeing process, and as a result, slight variations in color may occur between different production batches. We cannot guarantee an exact color match with previous orders due to these batch differences. Additionally, the sample sent to you may have a slight color variation compared to the final product you receive. For patterned fabrics, the sample may not fully represent the entire color range or design pattern. If you have any concerns or uncertainties about the specific nature of the fabric, we recommend contacting our customer service team for further advice.

Order Processing and Contract Terms

Order Cancellation or Amendments

When you place an order, you are entering into a legally binding contract. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, made-to-measure goods (such as curtains) are exempt from this legislation, and the 14-day cancellation rights do not apply. However, cancellations are still possible, and a full refund will be issued as long as the product or any part of it has not yet been manufactured. Once production has started, we are unable to offer a refund. If you wish to cancel or amend your order, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will check if the order has entered production. We strongly recommend that you carefully review the email confirmation of your order to ensure that all details are correct.

Website Orders

Our customer service team will repeat your order details to confirm them when you place an order. Please note that we do not accept claims for incorrect sizes or products that you have entered. Therefore, for orders placed via the website, we cannot accept such claims. After placing your order, please carefully review the order confirmation in the email to ensure all details are correct.

Prices

The price you will pay is the price shown at checkout and in your confirmation email. These prices include VAT, and the total amount shown is the amount you will be required to pay. At present, we do not offer delivery to the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands. If this changes, we will notify you accordingly. After receiving your confirmation email, please carefully check to ensure you are completely satisfied with the price of the goods ordered.

Payment

When placing an order on Homevery, you will be guided through the process with a series of simple instructions. You can complete your order by clicking the order confirmation button during the checkout process. Since many of our products are custom-made to your specifications, we will charge your credit or debit card at the time of placing your order using the payment details you provided. To ensure the security of your information, your payment card details will be encrypted to minimize the risk of unauthorized access or disclosure. Payment authorization is required at the time of ordering, and the charge will be applied when the order is placed. Please note that this payment does not constitute our acceptance of your order or form any contractual agreement. Your order is always subject to our acceptance. Our liability for any order is limited to the total value of the products ordered.

Order Acceptance

We reserve the right to cancel your order under the following circumstances:

  • Insufficient stock to produce or deliver the ordered goods.
  • The order is placed from a location, such as an island or country, where we do not deliver.
  • The goods ordered have been discontinued without our prior knowledge.
  • A pricing or typographical error has occurred due to a system failure in our database or website.

If, for reasons beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a specific item, we will notify you as soon as possible. In such unforeseen circumstances, no discounts or compensation will be provided.

Delivery of Goods

We provide an estimated dispatch time on the product page for each item. Please note that if the time specified is 7 days, it refers to 7 working days from the moment your payment reaches our bank account (usually within 24 hours). During busy periods, such as bank holidays or Christmas, dispatch times may be extended. After placing your order, you can log in to the order tracking system for more specific dispatch details. Goods will be delivered to the address you specify. Please note that we currently only offer delivery within mainland UK, and all deliveries will be handled by our courier service. While we strive to dispatch orders within the quoted timeframe, we are not liable for any delays or losses resulting from circumstances beyond our control. We advise you not to schedule an installer until the order has been received, inspected for any defects, and all parts are confirmed to be complete.

Defective and Damaged Goods Policy

At Homevery, all products undergo stringent quality checks prior to dispatch to ensure the highest standards. However, if you encounter any issues with your order, please promptly contact our customer service team via email at hello@homevery.co.uk. According to our policy, you have 30 days from the receipt of your order to reject goods that have manufacturing defects or have been damaged during transit. To expedite the resolution process, we recommend reporting any issues as soon as possible.

Once we receive your report, we will promptly address the issue and, if necessary, arrange for the repair or replacement of the product. During the resolution process, the 30-day rejection period will be temporarily suspended. Upon receiving the repaired or replacement product, you will have an additional 7 days or the remainder of the 30-day period (whichever is longer) to assess whether the solution is satisfactory.

Homevery reserves the right to request relevant photos of the issue or ask for the return of the product for further inspection. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Guarantee Policy

Homevery provides a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in workmanship. Additionally, we offer an extended limited warranty for an additional 4 years, giving you a total of 5 years of coverage. We reserve the right to either repair or replace the product, and you may be required to return the item for inspection before a replacement is arranged. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
